I believe in the radical possibilities of change and transformation that exist when we have the safety, trust, and established therapeutic relationship needed to build towards the new experiences we want and need for ourselves.

About Me

Haku Mease

Clinical Social Work Associate and Qualified Mental Health Associate

I am a trans nonbinary, disabled, and hard-of-hearing person whose families are Hawaiian, Japanese, and White.

In my 12 years of community care work, my focus has been in supporting children, youth, adults, and families in comprehensive holistic resource access through a cultural and trauma informed lens.

Approach

My therapeutic approach is rooted in a relational worldview that centers storytelling as a means to understand the threads of peoples stories. I do this through  narrative therapy, internal family systems, somatic inquiry, and solutions-focused therapy.

It can be hard to find the words and language to understand and explain our experiences which is why I enjoy exploring world-building through art and play therapy activities.
